It is not so easy to give one precise meaning of "Education". Different Philosophers and Educationists have tried to give their view on education. They have given the meaning of education according to their own outlook of life and according to the circumstances they faced. Education is an abstract entity and its concept is dynamic. It is a continuous process. Different people have defined education in different forms. They defined education in their own point of view. For a common man, education is reading and writing only. For others education is a means to acquire knowledge. There is a consensus that education is a continuous and life long process. It develops power of judgement, reasoning, and thinking. In the real sense, Education is to humanize humanity and make the life progressive, cultured and civilized. Development of man and society only takes place through education. Also it is a fact that whole life of the person becomes education. Somebody has rightly said that "Education is life and life is Education".
